Exercises in Style
John experimented with many different art forms throughout his life. As he aged, he wasn't able to lift the heavy stones used for lithography and moved on to other art styles such as oil paintings and collages. John experimented with combining methods to produce unique expressions and it is challenging to categorize his work.

By The Light of the Silvery Moon
John's work is fluid and his art reflects what was happening in his life at the time. John's daughter told me that John and his wife were taking ball room dancing lessons and had converted the attic into a dance studio. His artwork reflected this time with the whimsical dancing frogs.
